El El uso de simuladores para la formación de médicos y residentes en áreas quirúrgicas: revisión sistemática.

Objetivo: Evaluar la eficacia de los simuladores quirúrgicos en la formación de médicos y residentes. Método: Se trata de una revisión sistemática de estudios publicados en los últimos 5 años en las bases de datos Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud (LILACS) y PubMed. Se seleccionaron 30 artículos que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. Resultados: Los simuladores para el entrenamiento de habilidades quirúrgicas demostraron ser una herramienta eficaz en la formación de médicos y residentes, mejorando las habilidades técnicas, reduciendo el tiempo de procedimiento y el riesgo de complicaciones. El 93,3% de los estudios mostraron una mejora significativa en las habilidades técnicas de los médicos y residentes después del entrenamiento con simuladores. Conclusión: Esta revisión sistemática demuestra la eficacia de los simuladores de procedimientos quirúrgicos en la formación de médicos y residentes.
