ATENDIMENTO HUMANIZADO DURANTE AS SESSÕES DE HEMODIÁLISE NA SANTA CASA DE MISERICÓRDIA DO PARÁ

Abstract

Humanized care is an essential aspect of hospital assistance, especially in prolonged treatments such as hemodialysis. This experience report describes the impact of humanized care on the routine of a chronic kidney disease patient undergoing treatment at Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Pará. The report highlights the significance of ludic activities and emotional support in reducing stress and strengthening the relationship between the patient, healthcare professionals, and family members. The results showed a significant improvement in the patient's well-being, reinforcing the importance of humanization strategies in hospital care. The findings support the relevance of a humanized approach to chronic renal patient assistance, promoting treatment adherence and improving their quality of life.
