Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases are one of the main causes of mortality in the state of Pará, requiring innovative strategies for their prevention and early diagnosis. Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising tool in the analysis of clinical data to identify risk patterns, especially in regions with limited access to specialists. Objective: To report the experience of implementing an AI-based software to assist in the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases in a referral hospital in Pará. Material and Methods: The tool was integrated into the hospital system of a public institution in Pará and analyzed medical histories and laboratory tests of patients treated at an emergency unit. Professionals were trained to interpret the reports generated by the AI and verify its accuracy in predicting cardiovascular risks. Results and Conclusion: The use of AI allowed greater accuracy in identifying patients at risk, reducing the time for clinical decision-making. The experience demonstrated that the technology can optimize screening processes and improve the quality of care in the state, highlighting its potential for expansion in other health units in Pará.
