Introduction: Monitoring child growth and development is essential for disease prevention and early diagnosis of changes in child health. In the state of Pará, where territorial extension and difficult access to health services are challenges, the incorporation of technologies in health can optimize child care and facilitate communication between professionals, parents, and caregivers. Objective: To report the experience of implementing a mobile application aimed at monitoring child growth and development in basic health units in Pará. Material and Methods: The experience took place in family health units in the metropolitan region of Belém-PA and islands, where an application was developed and tested by nursing professionals and primary care physicians. Information was collected on acceptance, usability, and impact on clinical decision-making, especially in riverside and hard-to-reach regions. Results and Conclusion: The results indicated that the application facilitated access to essential information, improving adherence to child monitoring and reducing cases of underreporting of developmental delays. It is concluded that technological innovation in primary care is a viable path to optimize child health in Pará and promote better outcomes.
