Abstract

Introduction: The pursuit of international recognition in hospital management relies on three fundamental pillars: sustainability, technology, and quality. More than just trends, these elements are essential to ensuring efficient, innovative, and humanized healthcare services. Sustainability involves optimizing resources and adopting responsible practices, reducing waste, and promoting a balance between efficiency and environmental care. Technology, in turn, drives the modernization of healthcare services, enabling more accurate diagnoses, personalized treatments, and greater integration among teams. Quality must be a continuous commitment, reflected both in patient care and in the training of professionals. However, challenges such as resistance to adopting new technologies, the need for infrastructure investment, and proper professional training make it essential to adopt a strategic approach to strengthening innovation in hospital education and practice. Objective: This study aims to understand how sustainability, technology, and quality impact healthcare education and innovation, analyzing their influence on hospital management and the pursuit of international recognition. Material and Methods: For this purpose, we conducted a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive study with healthcare professionals and hospital managers in Belém do Pará. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews, as well as an analysis of institutional documents and records of initiatives focused on innovation and training. The content analysis methodology allowed us to identify perceptions regarding the importance of these three pillars, the daily challenges faced, and strategies for improving hospital management. Results and Conclusion: The professionals' reports highlighted that integrating sustainability, technology, and quality is essential to strengthening innovation in hospital education and management. The adoption of new technologies has optimized processes and improved communication among teams, while sustainable practices have reduced operational costs and environmental impacts. Furthermore, the continuous pursuit of quality directly impacts patient safety and professional training. However, challenges such as the need for greater investment, adaptation to technological changes, and resistance to new practices still need to be overcome. Therefore, we conclude that investing in these pillars is crucial not only for achieving solid international recognition but also for ensuring safer, more efficient, and more humanized healthcare services.
