Abstract

Purpose: To perform a literature review on the most prevalent diseases related to H. pylori infection. Methods: Topic searched through the Lilacs, Pubmed, Google Scholar and Scielo Database, with the terms H. pylori and dyspepsia, from 2014 to 2019 using the terms registered in the Health Sciences Descriptors as: helicobacter pylori, dyspepsias and their English correspondents: Helicobacter pylori, Pathology. In this context, articles were selected in Portuguese, Spanish and English, most focusing on diseases associated with Helicobacter Pylori infection. Results: A total of 2907 results were found based on the descriptors. Of these, meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 1 was used in Lilacs, 10 in Pubmed, 1 in Google Scholar and 1 in Scielo. Conclusion: Diseases related to infection with H. pylori are sources of numerous literary studies. This research involves the relationship of H. pylori with psoriasis, chronic periodontitis, gastric cancer, anemia and with ITP
